Polymer Nanocomposites and Carbon fiber (PnC) lab focus its attention on understanding nano- and/or micro-structure of polymer-based nano-composite materials and manipulating them to tailor and enhance the resulting material properties. The interdisciplinary research topic of our laboratory includes polymer chemistry, physics, and processing. Our specialty on carbonaceous material may also contribute to various research fields such as extreme environment structural materials, energy storage, energy conversion, sensing, etc.
