In order to understand and regulate cellular activities for various biomedical applications, it is important to create reproducible and scalable cellular microenvironments that can be controlled in a spatiotemporal manner. Our lab is focused on utilizing innovative micro- and nano-scale technologies to integrate the principles of chemistry, biology, and materials science and engineering to develop biomaterial-based platforms to control the activities of various cell types for biomedical applications.
